DESCRIPTION

'Dakota Russet' is a beautiful multi-purpose potato. It has a high yield of uniform tubers, resistance to sugar ends and cold induced sweetening.

Utilization
'Dakota Russet' is suitable for fresh consumption, frozen processing as well as fresh processing. It has excellent French fry quality and resistance to environmental stresses.

Pretty, vigorous, medium to large vine with white flowers

Tubers
Attractive tubers with golden flaky skin. Tuber type is long and blocky; eyes are shallow and the tuber flesh is creamy white.

Medium-late vine maturity

Storability
Stores well; low sugar accumulation in storage and processes consistently from 45F storage and perhaps colder

Resistances
Resistant to sugar ends in field trials. Resistant to cold induced sweetening, pink rot, and Phytophthora nicotianae, and moderate resistant to Verticillium wilt and Pythium leak.
